However, this was never the case for the NT platform. In these systems the system.ini is almost obsolete, being retained only for compatibility with old 16 bit applications. All other settings will be ignored.<BR/><BR/>From a technical standpoint the setting makes no sense. Buffers are used by devices, not IRQ's. Assigning a buffer to an IRQ would be pointless.
